Songs Around the Truce Statue (free entry)

Singing Our Socks Off, a fun and vibrant community choir, created and ran by Su Grainger will be performing around the Truce statue installed in the gardens of St Luke’s Bombed Out Church. The statue, created by Andy Edwards, shows the moment when British and German soldiers called a temporary truce during the first world war. The public are invited to come down and watch their performance which includes a 2 minute silence. 

This is a free event, hot drinks will be served in the gardens.

There will be a separate service of remembrance inside the church at 12pm conducted by St Luke's in the City Parish Church. www.stlukeinthecity.org.uk
