Motel Sundown are an Americana/Folk-Rock band, formed in 2018.
They met as three Singer-Songwriters and together they combined the sounds they each grew up listening to, for example they all share a love of Tom Petty, Sheryl Crow and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
In 2022 the band released their debut album If You Were Listening, produced by Mercury Prize nominee Andy Ross and featuring Pedal Steel legend Gerry Hogan.
They have enjoyed support from the British Country Music Association, and radio stations BBC Merseyside, Radio Ulster and Express FM. BBC Introducing have remained a huge support since the band’s first single in 2019.
Motel Sundown recently supported The Hanging Stars at St Michael's Church, Aigburth and Ashley Campbell at The Cavern, Liverpool. They also performed at the British Country Music Festival in Blackpool last yearalongside Tom Odell and The Wandering Hearts.
They are currently recording new material to be released in the Summer of 2023.
