About the Event
Celebrate Lunar New Year at the Bombed Out Church as we welcome the Year of the Horse!
Join us for a weekend of celebrations in the heart of the city centre with activities for the whole family throughout the day 🪭🎨
A vibrant horse craft art installation will also be on display over the weekend, created by a number of local, talented school children using up-cycled materials ♻️
We are so excited to welcome back Kwok Wing Foods & Jyoti Momos, serving their flavourful dishes!
Enjoy their delicious creations alongside drinks from our Garden Bar 🥡🍺☕
Movema will be joining in the celebrations in the gardens with community dance performances on Sunday 🧧💃🏻
Take the opportunity to explore inside of the church during our Open Days over the weekend 🌿

Details:
Drinks hot & cold (alcoholic from 12pm) will be available to purchase from our Garden Bar.
Hot food from Kwok Wing Foods & Jyoti will be available to purchase in the gardens.
Please note we are predominantly a card only site for purchases, please bring one to avoid disappointment.
Entrance to the church at any time is from the Leece Street gates only (opposite the Co-op).
Both the crafts & the installation are fully wheelchair accessible.
We are dog friendly.

Please be mindful that we are an outdoor venue, grounds are uneven & slippy when wet. The insides of the church can also get muddy, please keep this in mind when choosing footwear & wear appropriate clothing to keep you warm.
