Liverpool String Quartet: May Day

The Liverpool String Quartet returns to the Bombed Out Church for a celebration of May.

Join them as they take a musical journey around Europe exploring the traditions and festivities of the turning of the seasons.

Hear amazing music inspired by the calling of birds, garlands of flowers, folk dance and maybe even a little night music. Join us to welcome the month of May with beautiful music in the spectacular surroundings of the Bombed Out Church.

This performance will take place underneath a clear-roofed marquee inside the walls of the Bombed Out Church.

-Performances start at 14:30, doors open at 14:00 with our Garden Bar & Cafe being open from 12:00. Run time is approx. one hour 30, including an interval.

- Seats are allocated on arrival, on a first come first served basis.

- Soft / alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available. No food or drink purchased offsite is allowed.

- The venue grounds are a bit uneven and slippery when wet, keep this in mind when choosing footwear.

- We have portaloos on site. Included one access portaloo.
